Was cooking today and started to wonder about something. I think I may be the only person that actually enjoy MRE;s. No I didn't make them for dinner, but making my daughter canned ravioli got me thinking, is it possible to make MRE's at home.

Something along this line...

Open Can, Pour contents into some sort of bag, boil bag, seal bag with my vacuum sealer.

We have just started to experiment with canning this year. And so far have only done dome peppers and tomatoes from the garden this summer (we had a bad year).

However I came across this video on Youtube last night and  I didn't realize how easy it was to can meat.
