I’ve been thinking about buying a new watch. One that would specifically need to be low/no maintenance, *not* reply on batteries, water resistant, and keep the date. I’m not sure to just buy a case of wind up Timex’s (that being the “no maintenance” option), or if anyone can share if they’ve had good or bad experiences with higher end time pieces. I’ve been keeping my eye on a couple of solar powered watches, but again, I just don’t know anyone who has owned one.I’d love to find a solar powered watch w/wind up backup capability.
